Is Stephan the only one cool enough to chat with the fans? ;) :D

Or maybe the whole band drew straws to designate just one message board representative to put up with us, and Stephan got the short straw. :P

The internet isn't for everyone I would imagine.

After being on some internet music forums for a couple of years now, my personal thinking is that the music is paramount, and the personalities behing the music are secondary. I respect that some musicians choose a more private life. When they do post on the forums, it can be interesting. Growing up, I knew nothing about the personal thoughts of my favorite musicians. In some cases, they mystery of not knowing is sometimes more interesting than the reality. When you shed the mystique away, musicians are as human as everyone else.

They are not all comupter geeks like us =) They are busy making the music that makes us happy :D

I think you may see a few more members every now and then once the album draws closer. When they stay away so long and they finally return its like a treat! :drinkers:

I can't speak for Vanden Plas, but I can speak for me..... I have a family, a job and a bunch of responsibilities. I don't have time to come here as much as I used to or would like to.
I am sure the guys in Vanden Plas have two jobs (or more) because they don't make enough money in their band to pay all of the bills. It is not our fault "the fans" as we certainly buy their CDs and merchandise, but modern music doesn't produce millionaires playing music Vanden Plas does.
